My Free Newsletter: www.cooking-mexican-recipes.com Connect with me on Facebook: www.RobinInTheKitchen.com Twitter twitter.com Churros are delicious Mexican donuts that are very easy to make at home. I will show you what tools to use to get the best results. And no you don't need a deep fryer. You can make these in a large frying pan or deep pot. These little fritters will have your mouth watering with their crispy golden brown exterior and moist soft interior. They are not super sweet but have a nice cinnamon and sugar coating. Now be sure and eat these as soon as they are done. Nothing beats a Mexican churro hot off the stove. Oh, and don't forget that cup of hot chocolate. It goes great with these. Tips for making our churros recipe: 1. Make sure your oil is hot - between 350 to 375 degrees F. Use a candy thermometer or if you are an experienced cook, test by adding a small piece of dough. 2. Use a cake decorating press for your dough. It will make the churros look professional and they will be uniform in size. Who doesn't want to look like a pro? 3. Consume immediately! This is the best part. If you keep them overnight and eat them the next day, I'm sorry, they just won't be as tasty or crispy. Enjoy this recipe and leave me a comment.
